For instance, Ahrefs has 2 helpful metrics for the purpose. Nofollow links also matter. Some links, for example, the ones from blog comments may have the rel=”nofollow” attribute. <a The nofollow attribute gives search engines instructions not to follow the link. Maybe the site is not actively maintained anymore.

Third: I continually activate and deactivate plugins in an attempt to run less plugins and duplicate their efforts through custom functions or.htaccess scripts. Active Plugins Used Everyday. Whether you have a WP.com or WP.org blog, you can activate it. When I upgrade the WordPress version, for instance, I activate this plugin.
