TweetDeck – The multiple columns of TweetDeck make it so easy to sort and follow people that without it Twitter gets difficult to manage at times. I open 2 FireFox windows, TweetDeck , and Foobar. The Tools FireFox – Tabbed browsing and customization at it’s best. Foobar 2000 – I have to have music.

If you use something like Twhirl , TweetDeck , or Seesmic desktop then you can just have them search for the name and send you updates when it happens. My old account has picked up 4 followers and so sending it out again will hopefully get them to follow my new one instead. #4

Twitter filters would increase conversational value and lower costs

As a last resort I just filtered out the tag using the built in feature in TweetDeck, but it’s very limited and so plenty still flooded in. It’s easy for it to wear on people, and TweetDeck’s filtering option just doesn’t fit the entire bill. Make a list, unfollow people, and then follow them back later.

TweetDeck – This is by far my favorite way to use Twitter. The G1 – I love this phone so much it almost brings me to tears. Thanks to it I can never go back to a “regular&# phone again and will finish Hound of the Baskervilles by New Years. YouTube – A never ending stream of entertainment and information.
