I should mention that Google announced a few months ago they do not crawl the keywords tag anymore. Permalinks Permalinks are simply the URL’s for your posts. Google Analytics Before Google Analytics came along there weren’t really that many decent tracking tools available. If you’re serious about your website, you can learn a lot from this tool.

Although factors other than links apply, I will say that Google are very favourable towards Wikihow for a large number of terms. Attractionhowto.com is a really terrible website and doesn’t even have the six pages I counted unless you include their RSS feed. 1 site ranking Wikihow.

Google XML Sitemaps is like the Dagon Design generator above, but this one helps search engine robots know what the site looks like, enabling you to see the best post when searching for a keyword. RSS Footer does what the name implies. Feed Pauser allows me to publish a post but pause its feed publication up to 20 minutes.

I remember the days when traffic from the service would only have a 30% bounce rate, and while it’s around 80% now, a percentage of visitors still leave comments and sign-up to your RSS feed which is what most people want them to do. Maybe you need to make your RSS more clear (like I mentioned on our coaching call) in the left sidebar.

Tweak the Permalinks – Permalinks are simply the URL’s of your blog posts and pages. By default, your URL’s are setup like [link] which isn’t very pretty and doesn’t give an indication to what the page is about. Align RSS Images – I like to use images in my blog posts and I know I’m not alone.

Before I talk more about this, I do want to say that Google look down on sites selling text links. They do not get to see the actual domain until they purchase the link, which helps protect you from companies like Google finding out if you’re selling links. Thats insane, I have had sites sandboxed by google for 3 months.
