Buh bye Facebook “Explore Feed”

Back in October Facebook rolled out an experiment called the “Explore Feed”, moving non-promoted posts from publishers and brands to a tab on the left side of desktop feeds where Facebook said one could find content “automatically customized for each person based on content that might be interesting to them”.

For some reason Facebook chooses Reach to be the metric graphed on the insights page, and it’s little understood, so here’s the long and the short of it. Here’s how Facebook defines reach. Are You an Irregular Blogger?

Write it all out on a calendar and decide when you will publish. Then either write them before your scheduled publishing date and set them to go live on time or scedule the day you will write them and publish. You can set up some keyword searches in advance and see posts almost as they are published. Make a list.
