So if you have your feeds updated every hour, post other status messages at 10 minutes after the hour to stay up for awhile.

Along with Twitter, HootSuite can also connect you to your Facebook (profiles and pages), LinkedIn, Myspace, WordPress (.com com blogs), Ping.fm, and FourSquare accounts. TwitterFeed is a service I have used to set RSS feeds from particular blogs to automatically tweet new posts from my account. Ditto if you use Ping.fm

There are things like Ping.FM – that can send it out for you – I don’t subscribe to that model but I do subscribe to the model of posting your content in as many places that make sense.
