Reach is a bit like the CPI (cost per impression) metric. CPI basically charges for every time your ad is shown to someone but doesn’t factor in any response or action from their side. The problem with impressions is that they don’t really mean that someone has actually looked at your post or even noticed it. Conversions.

When you create an ad, Facebook gives you the choice of a CPC (cost per click) CPI (Cost per impression) or Daily Reach. The other issue is choosing the bid price. In my experience, CPC is the most tangible option because you are only charged when someone clicks on your ad.
