Get a facebook page and a twitter address, and then use an app called “Tweetdeck&# – this enables you to monitor “tweets&# and facebook comments. I agree with you about TweetDeck. These are all just different communities and different tools, so you need to make sure you find the right tool for the job.

Twitter Tweetdeck I use Tweetdeck for serious twitter sessions. It doesn’t have the advanced functionality of Tweetdeck (such as cross-posting to Facebook), but it’s so easy-to-use that it’s my favorite Twitter app. Anyways, my delicious account and I thank you for all this great info!

With Twitter being so incredibly large and vast, there are different types of mini-communities. HootSuite puts all the accounts in one single interface (you can do the same with TweetDeck and Seesmic, I believe), but in terms of passwords, I usually use KeePass to store them with other relevant account information.

Anything that shows community on your site is also a good thing in my eyes. Although the growth of this blog hasn’t directly correlated with more comments and tweets, it’s definitely had a large effect. I reply to comments, but not in the first 30 minutes – I’ll definitely give it a try and see how it works.
