What you want to do is take your keywords, do some searches, and then get the RSS feed of that search sent to your Google Reader or feed reader of your choice. If you’re not using an RSS reader use Google’s, it will make your life easier. Are there any other questions you have about this idea?

My second objection is that just because you mention let say bird feeders that doesn't mean you're looking to buy one. If I was looking to buy one, then I guess it would be alright. Following in the hopes they will follow you back and buy your stuff is not a good strategy. What do you think?

When using social media (or any other tool really) making sure you have your materials at hand and properly setup will make it easier to convince people to buy from you. Tell them and show them how it solves their problem and have a link to buy in your call to action. Let’s use Twitter as the example in this one. Good points.

So if you’re already blogging, you’re using WordPress or Drupal or Joomla, you give us the RSS feed and we can pull in those articles. Concepts under consideration include a variety of different search results (not just by time, but possibly by relevancy or impact), analytics, RSS feeds, widgets and more. What neither of them seems to have is an RSS feed for results, which would be the Holy Grail of Facebook open-graph API monitoring. It's weird on RSS.
