Mobile – you’re killing your content if it is not mobile enabled. Adsense – if you’re positioning yourself or company, remove it. Mashable has hired community managers to stay on top comments. Give people different options so they can choose what fits best. 100 per hour is a good amount of slides.

The difference is that it may be a lot harder, and take a while longer, to find those 5,000 people and introduce them to your community. And once I realized that I found I had a lot more energy to focus on developing the business that I wanted to really throw myself into. I love blogging. Any tips on managing this kind of abuse?

I did this right from the start, I had AdSense and Amazon Affiliate Program. That was a really important moment for me where I added Chitika on top of my AdSense earnings. I realized very early on, literally within a day or two, that I could double my AdSense income by doubling my traffic. Google AdSense, Chitika.

what social media sites are they using and how they using them for engagement/community building? do they have a dedicated community area? where do they seem to be putting most of their energy in terms of generating readership (social, guest posting, media etc)? are they using an ad network like AdSense?
