My site, 4insure.net, was recently penalized in Google. I got one of those -50 penalties where I go down to page 5 or 6 for all of my search terms (including site name). Google penalizing your site and not telling you the reason/never responding. Post on Google Buzz. getting penalized for incoming links.

Instant messaging has stuck around through the ages as a free service but most of those services are supported by bigger businesses making money in other ways (MSN, AOL, Yahoo…) Maybe Google should/could buy out Twitter. :) And then again, sometimes businesses simply fail.

As December 2005 drew to a close, I asked a few bloggers what their wish list was for the new year. Turning to thoughts for 2009 a few people felt that the blogs/social media has lost its focus of customer first content t o becoming ego vehicles while others are looking for advances in technology. Several 2006 wishes came true.

1 Write more : I made the resolution last year to do something with ALL the domain names I had. I am sort of a Domain Name Junkie and I had great ideas that I did nothing with. So I spent the better part of 2008 working on the domains I wanted and selling or letting the others expire. 2009 Birthday Resolutions. #1

To that tip there of checking your domain name that it’s on automatic renew, please double check that. Take the date out of your permalink, Google doesn’t like it and penalizes you for it.” I’m not going to great lengths to build a huge following on social media or an audience. I had exactly the same problem.
