Hashtags, the Good the Bad, the Oh So Ugly

I stuck to Twitter posts simply because they’re easier to embed, but most or all of these hashtags appear across social platforms. Probably the most recent oops was #AskThicke which was intended to be a Twitter style Q&A but quickly became a platform to call him out about misogyny, divorce, his hair and his music among other things.

Are you Blabbing up a storm yet?

Streaming right into Youtube is nice, to be sure, but I’ll give it up for downloading the stream from Blab or embedding it into my website. Yeah, I know, yet another platform to learn. This platform builds community super quickly. Meerkat and Periscope are being used as broadcasting tools for the most part.

I mean really, all of the communities online from Forums and Youtube to Twitter and Facebook use the user-generated content on their site to earn revenue and we don’t seem to mind so much. Be prepared to answer the same questions on multiple platforms. Maybe, maybe not, but it is the way of the web these days. Share the love.
