Basically, it allows users who are signed into their Google account to customize their homepage with lots of cool stuff.

At the end of the day, Twitter is a marketing tool so having more followers does create a more valuable resource for me. But then I emailed Jonah Lupton about his perspective of following 809,000 and being followed by 738,000; and something he said struck a nerve. I follow lots of people because it’s a way to get noticed.

This is a hidden gem amongst the abundance of Twitter tools out there. I find this the most useful Twitter tool out there. It’s also a good way to find users with the similar interests as you. I’ve found that the best ones out there are Just Tweet It and Tweet Find. Use Follower Wonk. Provide interesting content!

I learned a lot about myself and how I want to distinguish my use of the different tools. On Google+, Pinterest, Twitter, and other sites, I wrote that anything goes; and that I would find order in chaos. My mission to find order in chaos changed a lot. Facebook is overrated, I realized during the fourth quarter of the year.

WordPress.com implements its own tracking data but is usually less accurate than third-party tools. Create personalized pages that explain how someone can contact you, who/what you are, location/hours, disclaimers, etc. These are typically on the top navigational bar menu.) Feedburner used to be a wonderful company with an amazing tool that had responsive customer service — until Google bought them. After nearly four years of powering this blog’s email and RSS delivery options, I’ve parted ways with Google and its free Feedburner service and embraced the paid service of Feedblitz.
