You can see how many people are subscribing to your RSS feed and from which sources, and if you use the new Google Analytics integration, you can see how many clicks each individual post is getting from feed readers. Around two years ago I had over 350 feeds in there as I was a total information junkie. No problem.

It also gets your site listed in Technorati and other blog aggregation services. It’s common though that when someone puts images in their post and they align nicely, things won’t look as pretty when you get the post in a feed reader. If you leave a comment here for the first time you’ll see what this is like.
