What about those classes that aren’t teaching social media, is there a place for social media in those classes too? How should social media fit into the world of academia? I also thought that a list of the resources I have collected for classes on delicious would be a good example of the types of resources I have found concerning a certain topic such as those for my ACOM 203 class (speech writing and presentation) or work literacy (professional resources).

Show them how they can use their organization’s internal blogs, wiki, bookmarks, etc. Once we deployed internal blogs, a wiki, and forums, that’s when my work internally with social media really took off. I went in and created dozens of wiki pages on every social media tool I found. I blogged every chance I got.
