Adding the “ Authorship&# tag &# to syndicated posts will allow users to follow specific authors and list your content on the +1 tab of your Google profile.

14 step bare-bones guide to influencer outreach

Gather links for their Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Linkedin profiles at a minimum. If the influencer is blogging, look up the page rank of their blog on Google to get an idea of how popular the site is. Decide what the best communication method is for each blogger. Will you share their blog posts? Retweet a few things?

You see, lots of bloggers have their blog posts syndicated on other sites that aggregate content, and sometimes we write posts specific to a site just to get our names in front of more readers who frequent that particular web site. Google won’t love you any more. Recently the topic of syndicating content came up in conversation.
