Relevant so that you get a small ‘boost’ from the search engines but also brandable becuase you want people talking about your project or trusting the name when they land on the site. I shouldn’t really be surprised since it gets over 100,000 searches per month in the major search engines.

Over to Helga: Google, as well as other search engines, consider links the primary factors for ranking websites and pages. Nofollow links also matter. Some links, for example, the ones from blog comments may have the rel=”nofollow” attribute. <a The nofollow attribute gives search engines instructions not to follow the link.

The best type of traffic for blogs is search engine traffic and mentions from other blogs. The other side of the coin is to focus on getting traffic from search engines or other forms, and monetising them in different ways. As you can imagine AdSense promoted banks, credits, credit cards and so on.
