I am fascinated by the amount of social networks that I’m part of, but better yet, I’m intrigued to find that I assume different “personas,&# at least in terms of choosing friends (and using the networks), on each social site.

You can save your profile (bio, URL avatar, background color scheme, and background graphic) to the server and upload a custom one at will. I’d love to see a mute – particularly for “twilight&# , “biggest loser&# “football&# or the latest hashtag of a conference I couldn’t attend.

Reply jeanette okwu April 8, 2010 at 3:10 pm great thoughts, but here come the hard part: business owners, entrepreneurs and other big cheeses think that social media brings overnight success to their brands just by setting up a bunch of social network accounts. At least not for me. Just my 2 cents.

Add an avatar and a bio at the minimum. Other Social Sites Join a new social network and then invite everyone you’ve ever emailed in your lifetime to the service by submitting your entire Gmail address book when the service requests it. There is no reason to make a personal request. Not humanizing your profile.
