TweetDeck is constantly up in the background, and with the wide diversity of people I follow, I find more interesting articles than I could ever find on my own with an RSS feed. Social technologies make syndication and aggregation simple. Selective Tweets or only posting certain tweets to FB via Tweetdeck etc is a great way to integrate but not alienate. You can easily kill multiple birds with one stone - automate your blog posts out on Twitter, which in turn sends your tweets to Facebook - but its important to not overdo it and run the risk of becoming a robot.
