Here are some industry statistics that might ease some of your concerns: 150 million Facebook users ( socialbakers ). These are all good questions that would regularly require an extensive – and possibly intrusive – survey to gain insight about. This is a very valid question, so we wanted to answer it with this post.

Below are some additional statistics that I found interesting: Social media has reduced traditional marketing costs: 33% reduction on print advertising. It shows that social media allows these institutions to more effectively target candidates while reducing marketing spend by up to 33 percent on certain mediums. 17% less in radio/TV ads.
