Five years ago, any method of raising capital for a project would generally require a substantial profit share once the product came to fruition. The concept is simple : a budding entrepreneur or artist creates a video explaining their idea for a product or project and posts it to the website ( like Dan Cohen did ). How do you proceed?

Being a non-expert at much of this stuff, I recently got a bee in my bonnet about finding a way to build my own, iPhone-ready DIY photo/video studio, that would let me take/create not great, but good enough visual/multimedia content ( Project 366 is proving to be great testing ground for this). Toggl If you need to track your time for your clients or projects, want to move up from a basic spreadsheet but don’t want to lay out a lot of cashola, try Toggl. It’s easy, free (up to a point) and lets you track multiple projects, clients, etc., including those that are billable and those that are not.

Vest-less Now, I am not, and have not been, an AT&T customer (I’m quite happy with Verizon Wireless). You’ve been using Twitter quite delightfully to poke fun at AT&T’s wireless service. But as with any writing project, it’s better to write about what you know. Noooo… I’m no guru.

I set this up very recently after embarking on Project 366. If you have the new Timeline, you’ll have noticed that it replicates on your mobile device as well, which is pretty nifty. I did so because the photos I take are almost always from my iPhone, so I wanted to see if I could post directly to Tumblr from my phone.
