TweetDeck – The multiple columns of TweetDeck make it so easy to sort and follow people that without it Twitter gets difficult to manage at times. I open 2 FireFox windows, TweetDeck , and Foobar. Work has FaceBook, LinkedIn , CampFire and WetPaint loaded in them and I use them to communicate and work.

On their computers, I see Gmail, Facebook, Tweetdeck, Skype, Flickr and a host of other apps and widgets. Few in the audience appear to be paying attention to the speakers, though I imagine some are. (On I only spot two people actually sleeping. I guess we all multi-task in our own way.)

Have you attended a networking event, made new contacts and indicated interest in connecting on LinkedIn or Facebook? I have not tried tweetdeck, but I am now interested in giving it a try. I learned today about TweetDeck & find it easier to understand what’s going on. When ppl engage in a trail like #happy09 does that annoy people that are not aware or participating & are following you? What’s a tweetwall? Where do we find it. Without that I wouldn’t have had a real understanding of #happy09.

Twitter Tweetdeck I use Tweetdeck for serious twitter sessions. I find it to be especially valuable and hassle-free for updating Twitter, Facebook, and LInkedin simultaneously. It takes up a lot less screen real estate that Tweetdeck, and I always use Tweetie when conducting my live, Twitter 20 interviews.

HootSuite puts all the accounts in one single interface (you can do the same with TweetDeck and Seesmic, I believe), but in terms of passwords, I usually use KeePass to store them with other relevant account information. I created an additional account for people in that group.
