About 80% of all searches come from the organic search engines and not the paid search listings. As a reference, paid search listings are searches that are actually paid for by the companies being found (typically found at the top and right hand side they will say “sponsored listings).

When the competition starts, I’m probably going to get thousands of visitors per day landing on the website, simply because I picked a keyphrase that I knew (thanks to Google Trends) people would be searching for once the event kicked off. 1 in Google after nothing more than $10 directory submissions. That seems to do the trick.
