You can build all the links you want, but if your website isn’t optimized, Googlebot won’t be able to crawl the site properly. Even having two pages on the same site with duplicate content will get your site penalized. Before getting started, run Xenu Link Sleuth to check for broken links on the site, and fix them.

You don’t want people to see nothing but links to your site, advertisements, etc. If an answer comes back to you that can be solved by a page or article on your site, now is the time to share it! Twitter Directories. Don’t forget about Twitter directories. Not comfortable sharing a link right away?

In February of 2011, Google released the Panda update that took rankings away from websites with low-quality content and sites with more advertising than content. paid links (with the exception of those from directories). Submit your blog to blog directories. Google’s Panda update. Don’t have time to submit to them all?
