Of the three largest social networking sites in the United States, I plan to use Facebook the most, LinkedIn the second-most, and Twitter the least. Facebook in 2013. I continue to use Foursquare, Instagram, Pinterest, Flickr, Yelp, and other platforms. That is the order of my priorities in 2013. Twitter in 2013.

I spent four wonderful years self-employed as a digital marketing trainer, consultant, and community manager. I taught MBA students and small business owners everything from Facebook marketing to email marketing. I logged onto Facebook less. I am saying goodbye to the digital life and hello to community affairs.

Pope Benedict XVI sent his first tweet this week to launch News.va , developed by the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Social Communications, aggregating content and links from Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and YouTube; along with radio, TV, print, and other media outlets.
