It’s no Galaxy S4 or HTC One S or iPhone 5. I’m going dumb and I welcome fellow dumb humans to comment below. Comments Cheers. I want this phone. It ain’t smart. T-Mobile introduced the 768 this year. It weighs 3.5 I can play music on the phone. I can still email if I want. I think this is a smart decision.

Keeping afloat the ocean of new technology isn’t cheap, and there ARE drawbacks to lacking the fancy schmancy iPads and iPhones and iWhatever-the-Heck-Else people are using these days. We met the iPhone in 2007; three years later came the iPad. Who is the Technology Available For? Not everyone. The sky’s the limit.

I visited stores and felt different phones, but I really wanted a qwerty keyboard which is why I didn’t buy the iPhone; the G2 has a slide-out keyboard in addition to the screen keys. Without fail, you check your email messages so it makes sense to use email for as many things as possible: work contacts, social contacts, blog comments, and of course subscriptions to other blogs. Everything that you need to read, answer, and comment on — all in one place. Email makes sense to me.

This is an increase from the average 30-40% rates we saw five years ago when the original iPhone was released but it does mean 41% of websites continue to not work correctly from mobile devices. During this time my many computers sat idol, my iPhone received a much needed break, my thumbs took a mini vacation, and I spent uninterrupted time with my family and friends over the holiday weekend. I look at other people’s Facebook announcements here and there, add a comment when inspired, but it’s few and far between.
