Amid yesterday’s comments about my announcement of a domain I bought to shorten web addresses , Leo noticed [link] redirected to [link] and wondered why I didn’t use a WordPress plugin instead. I’d been using a Firefox bookmarklet for many months to share long website links on Twitter and in email messages.

To simplify this process, we have been using a free WordPress add-on called NextScripts Social Network Auto-Poster. As soon as each post is uploaded via WordPress, this tool automatically shares the featured image (or whatever content you like) with your social networks. Install the Bookmarklet.

As an alternative, trying using the shortcut keys (Right click on a bookmarklet >> Properties) which, when pressed after CTRL+L (CMD + L on Mac), will load a specific website.
