Are there blogs that you read regularly that you find so good that you end up sharing every post on Twitter? Do you hate it when you miss a post from those blogs, and wish that, even when you’re offline, you can promote new posts from those blogs to your followers because you know that each one will be valuable to them?

Use HootSuite to publish content to multiple social media accounts and/or platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Ping.fm (which pushes to many other platforms) and now they’ve just added WordPress functionality. HootSuite features it’s own URL shortner ow.ly Friend Feed. with stats. post images to yfrog.

Add a Facebook Page widget to your blog so you can add fans from outside FB. Target non-fans with a unique URL when they land on your page and provide custom messaging. On your blog/website, provide links to your other networks on every page. Provide Facebook-only coupons to create interest and motivate action. How is this done?

There are several other options, such as Flickr, Tumblr, WordPress, Blogger, etc… even Ping.fm. You can set up your own blog. Just like Posterous, you can use Amplify as your primary blogging platform, as well as auto-post to your own blog. Ah, but does the image accompanying your blog post show up?

Time decay: The newer the content, the more likely it will show up in your news feed. Like I pointed out above, if your content gets a low score, it may not even show up in the Recent News feed. HootSuite offers many great features that can aid bloggers in managing their Twitter accounts for blogging uses including promotion, monitoring, keyword tracking, reputation management and more.
