Videos that have a completely unplanned “wow&# element to them definitely travel far in social circles. This might be via power players on social networks (eg, this story is moving on Sphinn) or even national TV (Susan Boyle’s video was a recording of a popular TV show). Another great post.

I personally learned about Roger Smith Hotel at a social media conference and was told that it’s the place to be. The word of mouth has traveled, because Pamela Slim learned about the hotel from Jonathan. If you’re constantly broadcasting and not building bridges, your social media engagement will only travel so far.

I have good people that follow me but I get a lot of followers that I consider “spam&# (Dating services, travel sites, ect.) How can I make my Twitter network grow with real followers and not “spam&# ? I totally agree with Tamar that authenticity is the key Joel p.s. great article & great comments!
