Your comparison is apples to oranges. I get that this is all a social proof numbers game. Again, apples and oranges. In the same line, I really think that automated anything (sentiment, response, analysis) is a wrong paradigm for social. Sentiment is really hard to analyze. Yet, many people do that.

Yet the sentiment is true — writing, especially long form, is hard work, and the work doesn’t end when the words are completed. On the other hand, in Internet Marketing, you sure can, so I wonder if it’s an apples-to-oranges comparison. I may badly paraphrase and source the quote. Probably not.
