Amazon was just a bookstore back then, and I was earning 4–5% commissions on $10 books. Of course, that book became another small income stream. AdSense – 8%.

I often get commissions from people buying books, cosmetics, jewellery, and even nappies (diapers). She also writes about books and recommends those using affiliate links to Australian stores (as most of her readers are Australian). 3: Join an Advertising Network. And even 4% commission on those quickly adds up.

Other blogs in Alice’s niche were running online courses, selling out hundred people live events around the country, selling ads to fortune 500 companies, authoring best selling eBook and more. It was around this time that other Advertising Networks began to appear. My goal was to go full time as a blogger.

I was mostly linking to books. Promoted eBooks and products for other blogs. Added other advertising networks. ProBlogger Book Published by Wiley. First one was an eBook – For Digital Photography School – It took me 4 months and I had to learn about shopping carts and everything else involved.
