I like to focus on building search engine traffic to my sites because once you have rankings you can usually sustain them with little effort and the traffic they send is very targeted. If you’re entering an industry with a brand new site, the last thing you want to do is wait that long for some good search engine traffic.

I noted, as usual that mobile visitors represented about twenty percent of my overall traffic, split roughly 50/50 between tablets and smart-phones, which is exactly what I would expect from reading the latest tech news headlines. Mobile is growing like crazy. Mobile users are as good as any others, aren’t they?
