You would make a lot more money if 10,000 people landed on your site looking for a gadget to purchase – which you sold – rather than 50,000 untargeted visitors where your only hope is for them to click on an Adsense ad. Directory Submissions By nature, directory links are of a very poor quality. Sometimes I’ll also pay $100 or so to BOTW.org which is a human-filtered directory which can give me some great link juice. As soon as I’m cached in this directory I find my rankings to increase almost instantly. This is gold.

The benefit of directories like Ezine and Article Dashboard is that you don’t have to build your own website and you can usually rank quite highly for the phrases used in an article title because the site has so much ‘weight’ in Google. And remember, you are a writer.
