Since 2013, Google+ had been experiencing low activity. Since this bug was affecting the platform’s Application Programming Interface (API) and some of its users, the company decided to expedite the shutdown. This will include data from your Circles, Streams and Communities as well as all your +1 data.The process is quite simple.

The Instagram community has grown from 90 million active users in January 2013 to more than 400 million active users in September 2015. There are other apps that have or soon will have Instagram scheduling capability but unfortunately, due to the way Instagram's API is configured, this is how they all work. Tweet this!

It can’t be a purely RSS play as we need gadgets/widgets for API only based services. iGoogle will be retired in 16 months, on November 1, 2013. Really grumpy ! about iGoogle shutting down – if Google can’t find it on the ‘net, nobody can – but I’m sure there are services nearly as good.

Apparently, A LOT of people (like 45 million unique viewers by 2013 ) love watching live-streamed video games. Registering its one-millionth user that same year, the site became just “ Facebook ” in 2005.

Then there’s Hang w/ which launched in 2013. And shortly after we learned about Twitter cutting off access to their API, it became clear why. That app launched in 2009 and allowed users to swap video messages back and forth before it was acquired by Skype back in 2011, and then shut down in 2014. Who will win the video app wars?
