Sentiment: How much are you willing to automate verse check by hand? To be fair, I’ve only included those I’ve actually used (Radian6, Sysomos, Spiral 16) or tested (Meltwater, SM2). applications like Facebook, Twitter, Skype, etc. Demographics: Do you want to be able to filter by the demographics of the author? What’s the best way to get the most possible Facebook “likes&# and Twitter followers? What is an @ mention on Twitter etc… I think you're right about some PR firms still looking to social media as a broadcast tool not a landing place for consumer connections. I mirror your sentiments.
