I’ve tried to avoid all the repetitive job sites that “claim” to be focused on social media/community, but are just glorified job boards with social media jobs listed at the top. You can of course always use tools like Craigslist, LinkedIn and old dogs like Monster, but sometimes the cream of the crop aren’t listed there. Tweet This!

Sure, these sites will list a couple targeted jobs that are actually social media jobs, but they are not a site that is really that interested in targeting their approach just to social media. And listings are free through 2010! Add this to Google Bookmarks. Post on Google Buzz. Add this to Google Reader.

For those that don’t, the Ad Age Power 150 is a list of the top ranking English language marketing blogs in the world. 3 of these were lists (no surprise there). Numbers are never the be all end all, so only use them to compliment other methods in measuring what works for your blog, but ensure you have free tools like Google Analytics and Post Rank set up so that you can quickly and easily get a pulse of your audience.
