Subsequent to April 2015 marking my 10-year anniversary on the social networking site, I drastically spent less time adding content to my profile and more time following others and interacting with them; and joining and participating in groups. I have lists for specific groups or people in my network. I had to start following a large group of people and engage with them. I am also a big believer in a retweet for a retweet so when someone RTs my tweets, I like to check out their stream to see if there is anything interesting to share with my followers.

Now that my classmates are in a shared Facebook group, it doesn’t make sense to remain inactive friends since we can write announcements and share pictures there. The neat aspect about Facebook groups is everyone can choose to be notified of new activity. Subscribe to your friends and use interest lists. Go on and take a look.
