Even though it’s in a slightly different layout we still get all the features we’ve come to expect and love. Multi-column and multi-account controls, searches, and viewing lists. Between the two I still prefer the desktop Adobe Air app, but the Chrome version can hold it’s own.

Last time this came around I unfollowed everyone using this tag, made a list, and then followed once again on Tuesday when it was all over. As a last resort I just filtered out the tag using the built in feature in TweetDeck, but it’s very limited and so plenty still flooded in. Stop using Twitter until the event is over.

There’s something deeply satisfying about looking at a to-do list and seeing a bunch of checks in boxes. I use these (and a handful more) everyday to make my life easier, more productive, and to quell the shakes when it’s been too long since I put a check in a box on my To-do list. Productivity is like a drug.

If you don’t have your keywords list ready you won’t know what you want to bid on and you won’t be able to write your ads and so you won’t have a PPC campaign. When it comes to Twitter and using it’s search feature you’re going to be searching for keywords. It’s really that simple.

To make it worse, I looked for a freind's account - he too is using Twillow with a completely different set of keywords and he too has the same new inrelevant users on his following list. The new users are mostly spam account, people posting links to things you might want to buy. I tried to contact Twillow but my email bounced back.

The most powerful feature of Twitter (and one of the major factors in it taking off) is the ability to search for keywords or terms. If you or your company is running a PPC campaign then you should have a list of keywords you’re bidding on and have a core set that are the most valuable to you.
