You don’t need a film crew. I suspect they could have annotated thue video with a URL and phone number and tracking code to close the conversion loop, but I fear that selling that is entirely overt within social content of that type could be viewed with a jaundiced eye by consumers. I refer to it with my clients as adding value to the conversation. Social media is much to noisy for people to pay attention to obvious self promotion. Sure they sell cameras and film, but they also try to help people enjoy photography and just take better pictures. Think outside your brand or service; another example is Kodak.

There seems to be a distinct collection of sessions, parties, and hang-outs for the social media crowd, and then a completely separate collection for developers, entrepreneurs (and of course film attendees). I avoided any panel with more than 3 presenters, and found the depth of conversation much greater. –
