Ideally, your site’s URL structure should use directories rather than actual file names for the URLs. Using directories such as /about/ is preferred because is is platform-agnostic. You’re essentially “future proofing” your website, as we always will have directories. For example: [link].

Remove directory (this means that you want to remove everything from domain.com/directory/ even if you enter something like domain.com/directory/testpage.html). Either FTP access to your website or maybe even access to the content management system that you’re using will be needed. Password Protect the Page.

Flash can be embedded into html pages, so you may be okay–just make sure that you have other content on your web pages (lots of text) so that the search engines can read what your web page is about: search engines generally do not index and read Flash.
