At SXSW, each attendee had their unique QR code printed on their name badge. Smart phone-toting attendees could snap a photo of each others’ code, and instantly follow one another within the my.SXSW social network. At the end of the day, I hardly used my badge. Largely, it didn’t happen. May go badgeless next year.
