Subscriber Stats I really don’t know if I should continue reporting on Feedburner as the count is just far too erratic. But with Feedburner, who knows. Sorry to hear about the whole feedburner thing, I think we are all kind of feeling that it is just way unreliable. You could say that we prefer signal over noise.

My feed jumped from 8,500 to over 11,500 according to Feedburner. At first I assumed it was a bug, but it has stayed this way for over a week so I’ll assume everything is working as it should (Feedburner usually drops, not increases). As for Feedburner: every day my feed count changes by 1-2k.

Google Analytics Before Google Analytics came along there weren’t really that many decent tracking tools available. Instead of waiting around for Google to catch up, you can see what is happening on your website, right now. There used to be a free plan that comes with Crazy Egg but the cheapest option now is $9 per month.
