But then one of my social media savvy friends introduced me to TweetDeck. The only problem I had with TweetDeck was it seemed to constantly be crashing, which, if you work and live social media like I do, can be very frustrating. Out of pure curiosity, I may check out Social Sprout. SocialOomph.

While TweetDeck and HootSuite allow you to create lists and columns to sort tweets, they don’t allow you to do any actual in-column sorting. Or maybe all the social media folk get their own color and music folk get another. before I even knew what it did. Seriously, so pretty, right?

Note: The biggest offenders Ive noticed seem to be those who like to consider themselves "social media savvy" and think they need to be everyone at once always. Selective Tweets or only posting certain tweets to FB via Tweetdeck etc is a great way to integrate but not alienate.

Twitter announces #NewTwitter

Twitter also released this great little video about the upcoming changes: Chad Richards is Social Marketing Manager at Firebelly Marketing, a  social media marketing agency. The changes will most likely lead to people spending more time on Twitter's actual website - something that would appeal to potential advertisers.
