If someone pitches me an article about the NBA even though I blog about social media, you bet I might consider snark in response, but a topical pitch that shows that you really do understand what the blogger is about doesn’t warrant the same kind of treatment. Furthermore, ever hear of banner blindness? You’re absolutely right.
