Google is Not Facebook (and Vice Versa)

It's time for Google to realize that Facebook owns your social graph. I don't see them checking into already social places like Foursquare or Facebook Places. Instead I see flurries of Google employees canceling their Facebook accounts and running away from what's already social. Twitter owns some of that too.

Now, I’m not suggesting Foursquare will ever approach Twitter’s level of ubiquity, much less Facebook’s. Because Foursquare makes very little sense unless you’re in a physical location like a store, restaurant, etc. At least it is for me.
