For those who have been around the digital block, Pinterest seems like a more modern play on Delicious (which is a social bookmarking service for saving and sharing your web bookmarks). If Schacter were launching Delicious today, it would probably look and feel a lot like Pinterest.

To me, the more disturbing findings are in the composition of social behaviors. This means that the number of Americans engaged in just about every social media activity was reduced in the past year. Certainly, there are still PLENTY of people watching YouTube, reading blogs, and Digging their hearts out.

Those are people who consistently find things which are important to know about, and I enjoy being able to find out when they’ve just read them – not see a jumble of items which might be new, old, or social items like holiday images etc which are being put on Google+ weeks or months after they’ve happened.
