I guess it’s assumed in social spaces that when s/he initiates the friend request, you can comment on anything on their Facebook wall or tweet back at them about something personal or even comment on a photo. Unless the comments are not appropriate, no offense should be taken at all by the other person.

The High Point: Facebook In 2004, I joined Facebook and my behavior changed drastically. And, can we please have a “Notify me of follow up comments&# plugin here? Twitter, Pownce, and other “microblogging&# platforms really don’t fit in the type of social networks that I intend to illustrate here. P.S. Excel?

This was just a little bit less than 3 years earlier than the founding date of Facebook: February 4, 2004. Google Buzz was a social networking, microblogging and messaging tool developed and integrated into Gmail so that users could share links, photos, videos and messages.

Based on my findings, Problogger started in 2004, Copyblogger started in 2006, Daily Blog Tips started in 2006, Steve Pavlina’s Blog started in 2004, and Entrepreneur’s Journey started in 2004. I have never written a product review on my blog and my posts average 30 comments. How long have you been blogging?

Despite the fact that Facebook has the most customizable privacy settings of all social networks (though we could argue with their effectiveness in a whole other post), people don’t like maintaining a “business&# identity on the same profile as their “personal&# (fun?) Would you really comment on those updates?

As a college graduate and early adopter of Facebook (in 2004), I could definitely see that. Why did I join in 2004? One was in college in 2004, while the other was in high school. Professionalism and Privacy. Initial audience. It was a real private but promising social network. I have two younger sisters.
