If I bust my butt at Widgets, Inc. I don’t know if she intended her post to come off this way, but to me it reads as: choosing to work for someone other than yourself in your 20s categorizes you as an abject failure. Forget that the top reasons Ms. I find that incredibly arrogant.

I’m not a big widget user, so it didn’t do a whole lot for me, but I’d agree with this CNET review of it. It runs Flash, so you don’t miss large portions of the web like you would on the iPad, and it sounds like Honeycomb is only going to be getting better. Speaking of Honeycomb, the updated 3.1

By that, I mean, is the design clean, or is it cluttered with too many widgets, add-ons, etc.? Try to look at your site through the lens of an outsider, and answer these questions: 1. Does it look neat? Is it easy to view? Are the colors, and font, you’ve chosen easy on the eye?

The header, widgets and so on made it look very cluttered. I’d looked at WUL a few times on my BlackBerry (when I had one) and then on my iPhone, and all the things people say about non-mobile-optimized blogs were true. The font was tiny. It was unreadable. It took waaay long to load. Dear oh dear oh dear oh dear!

All you have to do is go to your Categories widget, and select the option to “show as dropdown.&# I did try to find a widget that would do this for me, but didn’t see anything I liked. Show categories as a dropdown menu This one is really easy. And I hate a messy sidebar.
