Other cool features include allowing people to subscribe to your blog via email, and being able to add email and social bookmarking links to the bottom of your posts. For example, if I want to leave a lot of blog comments, it’s going to be a hassle to constantly type in my name, email, and URL.

Tweak the Permalinks – Permalinks are simply the URL’s of your blog posts and pages. By default, your URL’s are setup like [link] which isn’t very pretty and doesn’t give an indication to what the page is about. In Settings >> Permalinks I use the custom option and type %postname%.

If I take that URL and do a link search in Yahoo (they shows more backlinks than Google) I can find link sources I can also use: The operator I use in Yahoo is simply “link: pageurl -site: domain.com &# (no quotes) obviously changing the parts in bold for the site that is actually ranking for your keyphrase. Great stuff I must say.
