If people are looking for it on Google, chances are they’re also talking about it on Twitter. What you want to do is take your keywords, do some searches, and then get the RSS feed of that search sent to your Google Reader or feed reader of your choice. If you do, please put them in the comments.

Another great (free) Google product that you can use to have content delivered to you is Google Reader. Google Reader allows you subscribe to RSS feeds across the web. An RSS feed is simply a real-time running list of posts, tweets, blog posts, Facebook links, etc.

Become a Knowledge Management Ninja with Google Reader. I have been using various RSS readers for nearly five years now - Ive tried them all. However, none matches the power of Google Reader. Some of these may work with RSS readers from Newsgator, Bloglines and others but they are written with Google in mind.).

If youre new here or just an old friend, Id love it if you subscribed via RSS feed. Google Reader trends tell me that I share around 30 articles per day through there. The easiest thing to do is to setup your keywords to be delivered via RSS to the feed reader of your choice (google reader, bloglines, etc). Following in the hopes they will follow you back and buy your stuff is not a good strategy.

You can see how many people are subscribing to your RSS feed and from which sources, and if you use the new Google Analytics integration, you can see how many clicks each individual post is getting from feed readers. Around two years ago I had over 350 feeds in there as I was a total information junkie.

However, thanks to the ViperChill forums, I recently learned of ‘ Widget Context ‘, a plugin that lets you specify which sidebar widgets show on which types of pages on your blog. Implement a Feed Footer. Something a lot of bloggers could benefit from – but don’t implement – is a feed footer.
