Coming back to the first question: What happens if Microsoft Outlook becomes a PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING PLATFORM? Can this beat Linkedin?

Motorola, Microsoft, Intel and even Google announce layoffs and office closures. Owing to a lower valuation it also seems that NORTEL will be bought in pieces by several companies like Huwavi. Circuit City declares bankruptcy! Is 2009 worse than 2001? If you go by recent reports by Forrester, it may not be that bad!

The leading internet companies in the world grew users and traffic organically and naturally over a few years. If that was not true, Yahoo, Microsoft, ebay, MySpace etc. None of the world’s largest and most admired internet companies started with huge advertising investment to buy consumers. It simply doesn’t work!
